Behind PerformaFlexMR is a family — and Gail has been an important part of the journey from the beginning.
As co-founder, she has helped turn PerformaFlexMR from an idea into a growing family-owned business. Her dedication, perspective, and support have played an important role in developing the brand and keeping its foundation rooted in quality, family, and helping people live active lives.
PerformaFlexMR represents more than a product. It represents years of work, persistence, and a belief that a family can build something meaningful together.
Today, Gail continues to be part of the team helping PerformaFlexMR grow while staying true to the values that brought the company to life.
is certified by the AAU in Positive Coaching Alliance and SafeSport, and she holds a National level USATF certification as an official specializing in high jump, long jump, triple jump, and shot put. Her leadership extends to serving on the Middle School Western Connecticut Track and Field Conference Board of Governance and co-founding the Danbury LIGHTNING Youth Track and Field, where she also served as Commissioner. Her accomplishments in coaching and athlete development led to her appointment as the AAU CT Chair for Track and Field.
In addition to her coaching career, Gail is an accomplished athlete herself, earning USATF Masters medals in the 55m, 200m, and shot put. Outside of her coaching duties, she works as a Project Director in the legal field and provides private one on one technical training for youth, high school and collegiate athletes through ASKiSI Sport Performance, assisting them in achieving higher levels of athletic performance. ASKiSI Sports program also can assist in better results in military fitness tests.
Shaun Williams Co-Founder
Shaun Williams is the founder of PerformaFlexMR, an athlete-driven wellness brand created with a simple mission: help people stay active, recover, and keep doing what they love.
A former Division I athlete and coach, Shaun understands firsthand the demands that training and an active lifestyle can place on the body. His experience as an athlete, coach, and entrepreneur helped shape the vision behind PerformaFlexMR and its commitment to creating products made with active people in mind.
What started as an idea developed through years of research, formulation, testing, and persistence has grown into a family-owned brand serving athletes, teams, gyms, and everyday active individuals.
Shaun continues to lead the brand’s growth while staying focused on what started it all — creating products he and his family can genuinely stand behind.
Shaun’s foundation in athletics began as a 3 sport athlete in Danbury at a young age but developed later as a Division I wrestler at Sacred Heart University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a minor in Sales in 2021. He continued his education at Sacred Heart, earning his Master’s degree in Digital Marketing in 2022.
His experience extends well beyond the classroom and competition. Shaun has spent years coaching and mentoring athletes at the youth and high school levels, including coaching wrestling at Danbury High School. He has also served as Head Wrestling Coach at Redzone Jiu-Jitsu and is the President of Danbury Flyers Elite Track Club, working with athletes to develop not only their physical abilities, but also the discipline, confidence, and mindset needed to succeed.
Through his experiences as an athlete, coach, and entrepreneur, Shaun saw firsthand the physical demands that come with training and an active lifestyle. That experience became part of the inspiration behind PerformaFlexMR — creating products designed with active people in mind.
Today, Shaun leads the Digital Marketing and development of PerformaFlexMR alongside his Mom, combining his background in athletics, coaching, business, and digital marketing to build a brand that represents performance, family, and an active lifestyle.
